Crown Oil delivers No. 2 home heating oil and provides quality oil equipment service to many areas in Morris, Somerset and Essex counties. Call our Customer Service Department to see if we deliver in your area.

Hours of operation:
May 1st to Oct 31st: Monday - Friday, from 8:00am until 4:30pm. Except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

November 1st until April 30th: Daily, from 8:00am until 10:00pm.

Automatic Delivery: Crown Oil customers will receive deliveries according to degree days (a measurement of temperature).

Will Call Customers: Please notify our office at least 48 hours in advance for any delivery. Any delivery that has to be made after hours or on a non-scheduled Saturday or Sunday will carry a service charge of $75.00.

Service Calls: If you have a problem with your heating sytem, please notify our office as early in the day as possible. Night calls should be restricted to no-heat emergency situations. We will always try to respond to any call as fast as humanly possible. However, there will be occasions when there is a delay due to a back-up...and for these times we ask for your patience.

Your oil deliveries are calculated using the Degree Day System. The Degree Day is based on the Fahrenheit temperature scale and is essentially a measurement of the difference between a standard indoor temperature and the (lower) outside temperature during a 24 hour period. Whenever the average (or mean) temperature is below 65, you have a degree day. The average number of degree days in New Jersey is 5300.

Note: It is the responsiblity of the customer to provide reasonable access to oil fills. Crown Oil will not be held liable for any damage whatsoever that may occur if access to the fill is blocked by plants, trees, shrubs or any other impediments.
