Emergencies are a part of life. At one point or another, we all have experienced an unexpected event. While oil emergencies are a rare occurrence, Crown Oil is committed to providing a timely response in urgent or critical situations.

For your added peace of mind, we recommend the following routines be completed BEFORE the winter season arrives to prevent emergencies from occuring in the first place:

• Have your heating system cleaned and tuned-up every year before the winter season begins
• Sign up for automatic delivery
• Learn how to measure your oil tank
• Keep all records of service performed on your equipment (burner,boiler, water heater, etc.)
• Know where your oil tank fill is located on your property
• Have your equipment cleaned and tuned up every year.
• Don't ignore any "unusual" smells, sounds, or other abnormal events--call Crown Oil immediately or as soon as possible.

Please note that our normal service hours are from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. from November 1 through April 30. Try to contain service calls to before 10:00 P.M. In the event of extremely cold weather, we will respond after that time. Service calls will be taken in the order that they are received, and we will make every effort to respond as rapidly as possible.

It is always advisable to have service work done prior to 4:00 P.M. because parts are readily available and work can be completed. Night calls frequently require a second call the next day to replace parts. Crown Oil is fully bonded and qualified to do work in empty houses provided that access is made available to our service personnel.
